Hunter Leckonby (Charleston, S.C.) scored all six of her goals in the first half, stealing the Griffins a 9-8 halftime lead with a last-second score before a more balanced attack kept pace with the Warriors in the second half.
In familiar surroundings, Nyack College (3-5, 1-2) executed first, scoring three times before the 25-minute mark (3-0 at 26:42). But the Warriors opening run was matched over the next four minutes, 3-3 at 21:53, as O'Leary struck first and then Leckonby to even the score before sophomore midfielder
Samantha Herron (Cinnaminson, N.J.) gave Chestnut Hill College (4-5, 2-1) their first lead of the game at 16:23, 4-3, off the feed from sophomore midfielder
Lea Sanders (North Merrick, N.Y.). An exchange of goals advanced the spread to 6-5 before matching three goal runs left the Griffins ahead at intermission, 9-8. Leckonby scored two of the Griffins last three goals, the second giving the Griffins the halftime advantage with one second remaining on the clock (0:01).

Julia Galantich (Clinton Corners, N.Y.) quickly advanced the Griffin lead with an unassisted tally at 29:39, 10-8, But the highly competitive play continued until the final horn with the Warriors rallying for a 11-10 lead (27:05), then the Griffins for a 12-11 edge (24:46); the Warriors retort, 13-12 at 17:41, and another Griffin response, 15-14 at 9:45. Sophomore midfielder Sarah Scheidt (Toms River, N.J.) tied the contest at 6:35, 15-15, but the Griffins had the last say when O'Leary secured the second league win of the season with the game-winning goal at 3:37, 16-15.
A majority of the Warrior effort came from four players as 14 of their 15 goals came between junior midfielder Lauren Lebo (West Simsbury, Conn.), senior attack Karis Walborn (Nyack, N.Y.), junior midfielder Karly Walborn (Nyack, N.Y.), and senior defender Alyssa Paddock (West Simsbury, Conn.). Lebo led the home team with four goals, an assist, a ground ball, eight draws, and two caused turnovers while senior goalkeeper Madeline Barbarino (Staten Island, N.Y.) took the loss (3-5) despite 17 saves, a ground ball, and a caused turnover.

Emorie Keimig (Freeland, Md.) to bring her game-high point total to seven. She also recorded a ground ball, five draws, and caused two turnovers. O'Leary finished with four goals, three ground balls, three draws, and three caused turnovers while Keimig capture two draws in addition to her two goals. Sophomore goalkeeper
