John the Dog's Bum Knee

My pup John has been having issues with his leg for a few months after a scuffle with one of his buds. Over the past few weeks the leg has gotten worse to the point that he is not using it at all. He has trouble getting around, needs to be carried on stairs and is obviously in pain. Yesterday we found out that he has a "luxating patella" which basically means that his knee cap is out of place. He is scheduled to have surgery to correct the issue in November. John the Dog is just a one year old pup and he is usually very active. Those of you who have met him know that he an absolutely wonderful boy. He is my best friend and it is a huge bummer to see him in pain. I am very hopeful that he will make a full recovery and be chasing balls in no time. I wanted to reach out to my family and friends to try to raise some money for J as the surgery is crazy expensive.
