The Anderson County Sheriff’s Office reports a device used to steal customers’ information was found attached to an ATM at a travel center near Exit 35 on I-85 in South Carolina recently.
Police report they found the “skimmer” on an ATM at the Pilot Travel Center Friday.
If you used the ATM at this location, police suggest you contact their bank or credit card company to determine if accounts were illegally accessed. And, if you had a loss of money after using the ATM you should call the Sheriff’s Office at 864-260-4400.
