Hartford, Conn. (September 24, 2014) – The Connecticut Association of Nonprofits (CT Nonprofits) will host its 12th Annual “Mission Possible” Nonprofit Conference on Thursday, November 6th, at the CT Convention Center in Hartford. The conference theme reinforces the idea that a clear focus on a nonprofit’s mission will greatly enhance the strategic planning process and ultimately the success of an organization.
Nonprofit guru and founder of Idealist, Ami Dar, will keynote the event. Dar, a philanthropist, internet entrepreneur and Website developer is best known as the man behind idealist.org, one of the largest nonprofit Websites in the world. Connecting millions of people with charitable organizations worldwide, idealist.org has contributed greatly to the success of nonprofits across the globe.
In addition to a keynote address by Ami Dar, the Conference will feature a morning keynote by Darian Rodriguez Heyman, author of the bestselling, Nonprofit Management 101: A Complete and Practical Guide for Leaders and Professionals, as well as nine seminars on topics including nonprofit communications, philanthropy, technology, board relations and more.
Registration will begin at 8:00 a.m. and the exhibit hall will open at 8:45 a.m. Breakfast and lunch will be served.
