Missing man, Brisbane River at Karana Downs

Police continue to search for a man who went missing in the Brisbane River at Karana Downs yesterday afternoon.

At around 2.15pm, a 21-year-old man entered the river from Kookaburra Park and failed to return.

A Queensland Water Police vessel and two other vessels are being used to search the body of water in the Kookaburra Park vicinity.

The search also continued overnight.

Police would like to advise that Kookaburra Park, including the water-area, is closed to all public especially those launching or using any watercraft.

There is no further information available as police continue the search.
