Plenty of men like elaborate wedding bands with stones, but it's not quite my taste. I like a man in a simple, classic ring with little fuss which, unfortunately, leaves little room for personalization (aside from some interior engraving). That's why I thought this Instagram was so genius.
That's a little inset diamond inside, taken from the ring of his fiancée's mom. Designer Caroline Ventura of New York City's Brvtvs made it for the husband-to-be of a friend who's getting married this weekend, and I love it. To the world, it'll look like any other basic band, but the couple will know there's something special inside. For the guy who likes his bling too, it's a subtle way of including it.
