Is This Normal? Is that Possible?

I get these kinds of questions all of the time and while I'm sensitive to repeating myself, there are new people signing up for the newsletter all of the time--so there's my defense for repetition.  I will have to paraphrase here, but here was the exchange that I hope will benefit others.  

Someone wrote:  In 2009 I was informed that my mother in law was going to pass. That I should tell my husband so he could be prepared.  My mother in law did pass that day. It scared me. I thought it was my fault. I blocked out any communication any further.   Is this normal?  Sometimes I think I'm going crazy. Thank you in advance.

My reply:  What is normal?  You ask if your intuition is normal.  Yes.  Yet, due to lack of education attributed to societal and religious conditioning from an early age, etc. --due to these things, our intuition is perceived as "not" normal or strange or weird or unusual.  That, while all the while, it really is normal but we just do not recognize our intuition is working all throughout life.  

We can sense, see, hear, feel and in various other ways know information but most of the time people are not aware of the information that they are receiving.  

Based on what you wrote, it sounds to me that you are not going crazy--you are simply aware, awake.

Here's another exchange from someone else:   I have a good friend that always used to talk about her spirit guide. She uses her very often and we do enjoy going ghost hunting at least once a week. She told me that my spirit guide would open up to me soon, then it did.

[Here the querent offered examples were given of information that was given by a guide which able to be validated.]   

But is that possible? I just need someone to help me understand what’s happening so I can start settling down with her and get comfortable. Thank you for your response!

My reply:  People want to connect and then when they do there's such disbelief and fear about it.  I find that interesting. More of that social and religious conditioning surrounds the bottom line question:  But is that possible? 
Try to think of it this way.  Your spirit guide and your own intuition could be thought of or considered as one and the same; the link is there; it exists,  so why not?    Therefore,  if I were to say to you that it was your intuition giving you information, you would then not feel so strange about believing that.   Yet, if someone says to you or if  you say to yourself, 'this is a spirit guide communicating' then suddenly it sounds unbelievable or there comes a lot of doubt.  Try to see the two connected ...merged.. your intuition and your spirit guide ..one and the same channel.

This, I believe, will help you relax about it all.
