Police have charged a 31-year-old man with murder following the death of a 21-year-old man in Townsville last night.
Officers discovered the body of the Heatley man in long grass near a car park area off Sturt Street around 7.30pm.
A 31-year-old Townsville City man has been charged with one count of murder.
He is due to appear in the Townsville Magistrates Court this afternoon.
