Cabela's Adventure Day, August 9
Cubs and Webelos will have a day of fun and adventure August 9 from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Chalco Hills Recreation Center, 8901 S. 154th St., Omaha, NE 68138. Sponsored by Cabela's. Activities include: belt loop stations, shooting sports (BB gun, archery, wrist rockets), map & compass, disc golf, fishing, games, and Knights of the Roundtable activities. Pistol Shooting Sports Program at Camp Cedars
During week 6 at C amp Cedars, July 14-18, 2014, Venturing Scouts (youth ages 14-20) were able to shoot pistols, in addition to rifles and shotguns. Venturers were able to shoot .22 caliber revolvers, .22 semi-automatic pistols, 9 mm semi-automatic pistols, and 357 magnum revolvers. Shooting Sports is an elective for the Venturing Ranger Award. program at Little Sioux Scout Ranch summer resident camp this year, along with many, many Medieval-themed activities and events. Scout units and families may reserve space at all of our camp locations through a camp reservation system online. For example, want to reserve the pool at Camp Cedars or Camp Eagle for your unit for a few hours or the entire day?
