Curious Oddities has a new website!

Hello all, so lovely to be checking in with you again, it's been a while- I've been busy!
What a big year this has been, lots of changes! In the Autumn I moved the studio to the absolutely lovely Dundas Valley, just on the edge of Hamilton, and this spring I've been reworking and moving the Curious Oddities website and on-line shop over to a new platform.
Both www.curiousodditiesshop.com and https://curiousoddities.ca will take you over to the new website if you'd like to check it out. It is a huge work in progress and I would absolutely love any feedback that you may have regarding its design, layout and usability. I'm also working hard to get more and more pieces listed- it takes a while to get things photographed and descriptions typed up!
Unfortunately in the move, all of the website's user accounts had to be deleted, when you visit the site you will need to set up a user account and password again- I do apologize for the inconvenience!

I'm having a sale! This week (Until May 9th) enter the code SPRINGSALE2016 in the checkout window to receive 20% off all orders over $40 CAD
The Curious Oddities ETSY shop has also been given a new look!I know the CAD to USD exchange rate is pretty rough right now, so for the next little while I'm offering the code: CANADIANLOVE for 25% off of all orders of $30 USD or more in my Etsy shop. Happy hunting!
On those dark and icy days of deep winter, the next best thing to a good book, cat on the lap and a cozy fireplace is a day of treasure hunting! I've had a marvelous time this winter scouring the antique malls, resale shops and markets for the most unique and lovely items to breathe new life into.
Edwin Locke snapped a few fun pictures of me in my studio, you can check out the mini article here: Treasure Hunting

Happy Mother's Day on Sunday May 8th!

Sending love and appreciation to all of the Mums, Grandmas, Aunties, big Sisters, caregivers, teachers and nurturers out there!!
