When Disney bought Lucasfilm three years ago, the House of Mouse acquired the rights to not only Star Wars -- and some arguably less-beloved properties, like Willow and Radioland Murders -- but also the rights to another Indiana Jones movie.
Since Lucasfilm's already got Harrison Ford on-board for Star Wars: The Force Awakens, would it be that much of a stretch to get the actor back as Dr. Jones?
It's also possible that Kennedy's planned sequel is the rumored Indiana Jones reboot, which was reported to have Steven Spielberg in talks to direct, and rumoured to have Chris Pratt as its lead (despite Pratt's denial of those rumors...)
