Hi friends - I'm back from my travels!!

As some of you will know, I was away for some of February and all of March, on a six week honeymoon in New Zealand, with a short stint in Australia.

I knew the whole thing would be an adventure and I would learn lots, and it didn't disappoint!

I was extremely lucky and privileged to see a completely different part of the world, have almost 6 weeks of everyday feeling like a Sunday, completely chill out, rest, repair, meet new people, try new things and explore new cultures (and drink a lot of wine!)

Sharpen The Saw

In my personal development work, I am a huge advocate of taking time out to "Sharpen The Saw" as the author of 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, Stephen Covey puts it. However, my time in New Zealand took me further than that. I learnt so much about what is important to us and how we operate as humans, and what goes on under the radar that we rarely realise, or we never had the opportunity to appreciate in the first place.

The 6 Life Lessons I Learnt in New Zealand is the talk topic I will be sharing at next Friday's Murphy's Networking Neighs (9.30-12 noon). In it, I intend to awaken in you a deep knowing, so that you leave feeling inspired and empowered - so make sure you come along to hear it.

HAE Development Day

For all Horse Assisted Educators, the date for the next HAE Development Day run by the TowerHouse Horses team, is fast approaching.

These are powerful learning and networking days, where you are able to be a client of the work too. The theme this time around is Making it your own - which focuses on taking your original training and developing it to reflect your personality, strengths and resources.

We'll be at Sharon and Dave's great facilities in near Windsor, UK on 9.30-5pm on Saturday 29th April.

These events are a great opportunity to have necessary Continuing Professional Development, support from your peers, and be reminded of the depth of working with horses. We welcome those from EAGALA, LEAP, EAQ and many other HAE training backgrounds, with tickets starting at £50. People make excellent friends and business connections at these events (I've counted at least 4 new business and 1 charitable partnerships in the 4 years they've been running) - so come along and make the most of the opportunity available. Click the link below to be redirected to the booking page and sign up before all the places are gone.

And finally...

It's just over a year since we unexpectedly had to put Murphy to sleep. In that time, I've had to assess new horses, reassess our mission, ask what our purpose is and hold the herd as they went through huge changes. I learnt to draw on outside support, take occasional gambles, be humble when they don't work and manage the change in a way they wanted be part of. I didn't always get it right, but that's the one great thing about horses, they're pretty forgiving, meaning you get the lesson quickly and move on.

This year will see us going through some changes again. There's a website redesign in the pipeline and a shift away from corporate to more individual and group personal development. This fits in with our desire to work with the uniqueness of each individual rather than give a broad message to a crowd. Each person is unique, so we'd like to work with them in that way, being flexible and adaptive to their needs. This is what makes us feel good, it's what makes us feel alive - so I know it's the right direction to go in.

We hope, as a unique individual, you'll join us and be a part of this journey. Whilst the website is being done, we are continuing to offer one to one sessions and Breakthrough Days to further your personal development. In addition, whilst the herd are on their own journey, I am upgrading my coaching qualifications. This means you can look forward to some even more powerful interventions, alongside a new meditation offering - so a shift more into performance through Wellness. That's because, for a long time I have known that those that are able to rise above the drama of it all, get the most out of themselves and are of greatest service to others - and it's time that we made that our company mission.

So until I see you next, on behalf of the herd and I, I would like to wish you a very prosperous and abundant spring.
