Please Support the FREE WVSU Tennis Camp

The fourth annual "Momma Howard's" WVSU Tennis Camp needs your support.

Each year the camp introduces 50 children between the ages of seven and 13 to the lifelong sport of tennis.

     This year's camp runs July 27-30 from 8:45 to 11:45 a.m. daily.

Besides learning how to play the game each child receives a free camp t-shirt, a daily snack, and a picture with WVSU President Brian O. Hemphill.

There is a guest speaker each day who discusses how to succeed in sports and life. There are also numerous door prizes given away.

No child has ever been charged to attend the camp and several adults volunteer their time to make it a great time for the kids.

We are trying to raise $1,000 to help cover expenses.

You can donate by contacting WVSU Tennis Coach John Simms at 304-766-5760 or simply click the link below to donate online right now.

Under "Designation" just scroll down the menu to men's and women's tennis and then complete the form. All donations from now until the camp starts will go toward the camp.

Any extra money raised beyond our goal will be used for court maintenance first and then to support the school's tennis teams.

       Your support is appreciated.
