A golden retriever in a popular online video tried to get two of his friends to quit fighting over their precious tennis ball, but eventually just proclaimed himself top dog by perching above struggle.
The video, posted to Facebook by Evelyn Lou on Sunday, starts with two dogs facing each other, locked in a tussle over the bright yellow ball.
A third dog looks at the contest before coming over and, tired of his playmates' antics, lays his snout between them.
The act, though adorable, does little to deter the first two retrievers' tug-of-war.
