Illinois Wesleyan University won the eight-team event with 240.50 points, followed by the host-Thunder second at 132, Carthage third at 107.50, the University of Chicago fourth at 85, Wisconsin-Parkside fifth at 63, Bethel University sixth at 62, North Central College seventh at 48 and Benedictine University (Ill.) eighth with 35 points.

Carthage's
Morgan Young (So., Mahomet, Ill./Mahomet-Seymour) won the discus (141-8) and finished third in the shot put (40-3 ½), the hammer throw 143-4) and the javelin (102-5).Â
Becca McMullin (Sr., Round Lake, Ill./Fox Lake-Grant Community) took second in both the discus (139-9) and the hammer throw (156-8).Â
Elanta Slowek (Fr., Niles, Ill./West) was second in the javelin (122-11).Â
Isabella Medina (Fr., Geneva, Ill.) finished fourth in the 400-meter dash (1:02.66), as did
Lillian George (Jr., Oconomowoc, Wis./Hartland-Lake Country Lutheran) in the high jump (5-1) and
Courtney Grever (So., Frankfort, Ill./Lincoln-Way East) in the shot put (39-9 ¾).
Carthage travels to De Pere, Wis., on Saturday, April 25 for the Wisconsin Private College Outdoor Track and Field Championship at St. Norbert College's Donald J. Schneider Stadium, beginning at 10:30 a.m.
