Apropiati-va de Dumnezeu / Draw close to God

"Apropiaţi-vă de Dumnezeu, şi El Se va apropia de voi!" - Iacov 4:8

       (Draw near to God and He will draw near to you)

Poate ca uneori va simtiti putin intimidati cand cititi sau auziti despre maretia si calitatile impresionante ale lui Dumnzeu.
Vi se pare uneori ca Dumnezeu este mult prea departe de voi, ca nu v-ati putea apropia niciodata de El sau ca sunteti prea neinsemnati pentru un Dumnezeu atat de maret. Dar asa este oare?
Biblia spune ca de fapt El nu este departe de nici unul dintre noi ( "ca ei sa caute pe Dumnezeu si sa se sileasca sa-L gaseasca bajbaind, macar ca nu este departe de fiecare din noi." - Faptele Ap. 17:27)

Iacov spune sa ne apropiem de El iar El se va apropia la randul lui de noi.

De asemenea mai este scris  ca El se lasa gasit : "Mă veţi căuta, şi Mă veţi găsi, dacă Mă veţi căuta cu toată inima. Mă voi lăsa să fiu găsit de voi, zice Domnul" - Ieremia 29:13-14

Asadar cautati-L si apropiati-va de El pentru a beneficia de toate binecuvantarile care ni se pun la dispozitie : "Căutaţi pe Domnul câtă vreme se poate găsi; chemaţi-L, câtă vreme este aproape.- Isaia 55:6 

[EN] Do you feel close to God? To many, that seems just impossible. Some fear that he is too remote; others feel hopelessly unworthy. However, the Bible lovingly urges us: “Draw close to God, and he will draw close to you.” (James 4:8) He even assures his worshipers: For I, the Lord your God, will hold your right hand,
Saying to you, ‘Fear not, I will help you.’.’”—Isaiah 41:13.

Our Father wants us to be close to Him. His Word encourages us to grope for Him and really find Him, although, in facts, he is not far off from each one of us. ( Acts 17:27). 

God invites us to draw near to Him. He is ready and willing to receive us into His favor as friends. At the same time, He promises that if we take steps to draw close to Him, He will take corresponding action. He will draw close to us
