ASK A FARMER...
There is so much to learn, and we are fortunate to have the resources here that are happy to share their knowledge, so, we are starting a new column of sorts...Ask a Farmer!  Let us hear your FARMsteading questions and we will seek out the answers for y'all!  send us an email to info@FARMsteadED.com or a shout out on Facebook!

THE QUANDRY:  "I have chickens and don't have enough leftovers for compost bins."

THE ANSWER:  Great News!  You can have chickens and compost bins too!  Chickens actually help turn the compost pile for you and eat a lot of those pesky weed seeds!  We say, "You can have it all while promoting a balanced cycle of life for your chickens, & garden!"

A big shout out to the Urban Gardener for letting us know we can have it all!
