Full ReleaseNEW ORLEANS—The NJIT men's and women's track and field teams have been honored by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) as All-Academic team for the 2014 season.
This is the fifth recognition for the women's team and second for the men's track and field teams since becoming a full Division I championship eligible program (Summer 2009).
For the team to be considered for the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team Award, they must have competed and compiled a team score at an NCAA Regional Championship and also have a minimum 3.00 team cumulative GPA.
