Montreal Passes Motion For Canadian Women on Money

The motion passed! Kudos to Montreal City Council for passing the motion, introduced by Marvin Rotrand, calling for Canadian women on bank notes and coins. I've done a quick translation of the French text of the motion, and posted it on my heroines.ca website. There are some great phrases, highlighting the importance of symbols in reflecting to the entire world the values which are cherished by its citizens, etc. Thank you Montreal for standing up for equality and calling for action!
