Miss Oregon Rebecca Anderson didn't win Sunday's Miss America pageant in Atlantic City, but she did make a statement with her bike helmet and bike-themed shoes.

Anderson, an Oregon City High School graduate, chose a bike theme for the "Show Us Your Shoes" parade leading up to Sunday's selection.

The winner was Miss New York, Kira Kazantsev, who performed Pharrell Williams' "Happy" while tapping a red cup on the floor during the talent portion of the competition.
