NATIONAL YOUTH LEADERSHIP TRAINING - NYLT

Boy Scouts, First Class and 13 years or older, and all Venturers and Sea Scouts should attend.

Are you developing strong youth leaders in your unit?
Everyone receiving this email knows the importance of trained leadership.
Our youth leadership deserves to be trained too.
NYLT can help!

What is NYLT?
National Youth Leadership Training is a 6-day opportunity that focuses on developing future leaders for their Scout Troops, Crews, Ships, or Posts.
Participants return with leadership skills and experience that can do positive things in their units.
Troops can also get credit on their 2016 Journey to Excellence score card.

Last Frontier Council will offer 2 courses this summer.

June 6 – 11, 2016 at Diamond H Scout Ranch in Cookson, OK

The first 48 FULLY PAID participants will have the opportunity to attend. Roster & alternates will be kept by date of payment. Courses are filling quickly.
Cost is $200, late fees added 45 days from course start.

FALL CAMPING OPPORTUNITIES.

This fall we will have two new camping experiences for Boy Scouts & Venturers.

THE EVENT at Diamond H.
September 23-25th.
This new PILOT camping opportunity will be limited to the first 100 fully paid participants, and selected youth staff. THE EVENT will involve a challenge competition, testing your Scouting Skill, Knowledge, and Resourcefulness. This will be the BETA 1 Test.

ARE YOU READY TO SURVIVE or WILL YOU SURRENDER?

Registration will open on June 1st.

ZOMBOREE at Camp George Thomas
October 28-30 (Halloween Weekend)
This is a new camping adventure.
Cost is $15.00 per person
Registration opens on June 1.

**Boy Scouts and Venturers are encouraged to volunteer to staff at Camp George Thomas Fall Family Adventures. Those who volunteer to staff the weekend Family camp outs will be "in the know" and lead the planning for the Zomboree weekend.
