We kick off the HIFF fall season with this year's official HIFF SNEAK PEEK with the advance screening of the award winning ROOM starring Brie Larson. The film, based on the bestselling novel, won the Audience Award at the recently concluded Toronto International Film Festival, an "unofficial" indicator for the upcoming Best Picture Academy Award race.
Synopsis:
Joy Newsome (Brie Larson), also known as Ma, is being held captive with her five-year-old son, Jack, in a garden shed. It all started when Old Nick tricked Ma into helping him find a lost dog. She was then kidnapped and brought to "Room", the garden shed in the backyard of Old Nick's house. Seven years later, Ma and Jack find themselves still locked in "Room", itching to get out.

The screening is FREE to all current HIFF Ohana members, but admittance is on a first-come first-served basis. Audience members can start lining up at 5pm.

The HIFF 2015 Box-Office opens next Friday, October 16, exclusively for HIFF Ohana members! If you want to get a head start to purchasing tickets and are not a member, then go ahead and buy or renew your membership online now or purchase it at the box-office when it is open for HIFF Ohana members. General public sales start on October 19.
The physicial box office will be located at the front lobby of the HIFF administration office across the street from the Regal Dole Cannery Stadium 18. Hours of operation will be 11am - 6pm (closed on Sundays). Or you can purchase your tickets online, 24 hours a day, and also print them out or save the e-tickets and present them at the door before entrance to your screening. It's that simple.
