Paper Crane Productions has optioned film rights to The Ark, a 2010 adventure novel by Boyd Morrison about an Army engineer who discovers archaeological evidence of Noah’s Ark.
Paper Crane is a privately financed, L.A.-based production company established in 2012. Company partners Angelo Restaino and Greg Wilson will be penning the script, with the company’s three other partners, Hugo Perez, Ryan Cheevers and Emily Moss Wilson, set to produce.
The book is the first of four novels by Morrison — an actor, engineer and Jeopardy! Champion — that follows the adventures of Tyler Locke, a MacGyver-type hero.
