We had reasonably high hopes for this show as we set off on a cold night for London. What we didn’t know was that the was to be The Sisterhood’s first-ever London headline appearance or that this would turn out to be a highlight of the year.
There is often an interesting story behind this artist’s single releases and this seasonal offering is no exception. When Michael played at The Cavern Club up in Liverpool earlier this year, a song not heard outside one local family was discussed and now Michael has recorded it, with distinguished friends.
It is fair to say that Union J were a superior example of the young pop group – they had better than average songs, some good guidance BUT sadly very mainstream and unambitious music production. Their records sounded too similar to rivals.
