I understand that this has been petitioned in the past and nothing happened. However, please take a moment to consider this new petition and let's make this one DIFFERENT! My heart aches for the City of Heroes community and i'm ready to make a difference.

City of Heroes was released on April 27th, 2004. It built up a very large fan base that I believe still exists to this day. Unfortunately, it was shut down on November 30th, 2012. There has been no super hero MMO released since that day that fills the void created by the City of Heroes shut down.

What we would like to ask: NCsoft to sell the City of Heroes IP OR allow the game to be brought back online by another party or even by NCsoft (we want to forgive you!) I believe that most parties would be willing to bring the game back online and manage it without making any "profit" from the game at all. We just want the ability to play our game again! 

City of Heroes may not have been a largely successful game in Korea, but it had quite a following the United States. It has been 5 long years since the games shut down and I believe this action would in no way hurt your company's image. If anything, I believe many would applaud NCsoft. Be the Hero we all know you can be NCsoft! Let us be the Heroes that we all want to be as well!
