Planned Parenthood Prioritizes Politics Before “Women’s Health.”

Life News | Planned Parenthood cuts its hours…

As a result of losing some New Hampshire tax funding, Planned Parenthood has announced fewer hours of operation.  They say this will hurt women, but New Hampshire Right to Life President Jane Cormier says otherwise.

“For women truly in need of healthcare services, there are many, many low cost or free healthcare clinics available here in New Hampshire,” Ms. Cormier pointed out to LifeSiteNews.  “This does not even take into consideration the fact that Obamacare and expanded Medicaid offers options for all women, regardless of income.”

You know what else it doesn’t take in to account?

This!

Planned Parenthood of Northern New England spent $832,596.00 dollars on Public policy in 2013. In 2014, they spent $1,587,499.00 dollars (nearly $1.6 million) just on public policy.

Still think Planned Parenthood in New Hampshire can’t function without taxpayer dollars?

That is a one year increase of $754,930.00 dollars. A 91% increase in just one year…just on Public Policy.

Planned Parenthood Northern New England (PPNE) has plenty of money so the reduction in hours isn’t about money. It is about priorities.  PPNE would rather pay lobbyists and bribe politicians to rob taxpayers for them than use their abundant fiscal resources to keep clinics open longer hours in the Granite State.

Why aren’t these stalwart defenders of women’s health asking PPNE the most important question of all? Why is funding the politics more important than funding the services?  The obvious answer is that a large portion of that 91% year over year increase in political spending benefits Democrats.

But even if it doesn’t just benefit Democrats, by refusing to ask the question or insisting that PPNE rethink its priorities, these so-called defenders have placed their political efficacy above (according to their own dogma) the actual health of actual women whom they claim are being denied services.

They are only being denied services, regardless of what we agree those might be, because PPNE’s priorities are political not clinical. And yet, no outrage from the left directed at PPNE? No feminazi blitzkrieg.

If they really gave a damn, Governor Hassan, the Executive Council (Colin Van Ostern and Chris Pappas), Democrats in the NH House and NH Senate, Congressperson Kuster, and Senator Jeanne Shaheen the abortion queen herself, would be calling PPNE and suggesting that the optics of cutting operating hours while sitting on a trove of Lobbying riches doesn’t look that good.

But they wont. PPNE will spend that bloated policy budget lobbying and pandering to people who will use the government to squeeze more money out of taxpayers, and that leads to another question.

Why are clinics that “don’t use taxpayer dollars to pay for abortions” making abortions less accessible to women because there are fewer taxpayer dollars?

Maybe they didn’t think of that. Maybe they were thinking that cutting hours would give the secular inquisitors on the left  something to point to while they work to rob hard-working New Hampshire citizens for the benefit of another political sugar daddy.

I’m not saying that wont work. The inquisitors are good at what they do. But this opens PPNE and the abortion cult in NH to more questions and more people need to be asking.
