Alleged puppy abuser Alsu Ivanchenko makes bail, released from jail

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- Public records indicate that Alsu Ivanchenko, who has been accused in severely injuring and then abandoning Charlotte the puppy near the railroad tracks on Staten Island, has made bail.

Ms. Ivanchenko, 34, of Bay Terrace, was discharged on bail on Thursday, according to city Department of Corrections records. Her cash bond was $3,500.

Ms. Ivanchenko is due back in court on Monday
