Water Interruption Notice – April 24, 2014

Laguna Madre Water District (LMWD) will be doing some improvements on its water distribution system in your area to better serve its customers. LMWD will be installing a new 6″ valves at the area of East Verna Jean and Padre Blvd.
 
In order for the work to be done safely and properly LMWD will be shutting down the water system in your area for an extended period of time and some areas will be experiencing low water pressure or no water at all. The affected areas will be, from East Polaris and Padre Blvd to East Morningside and from East Polaris to Gulf Blvd. The shut down will be on April 24, 2014, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
  
LMWD recommends that its customers store water for sanitary use and for cooking in containers and or buckets. If there is a medical condition please, take this time to make the necessary arrangements to meet your medical needs. LMWD also recommends that all businesses with water pumps or chillers, take the needed precaution to protect their pumps and chillers at this time.
 
LMWD apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause to its customers.  Work can be postponed due to weather conditions.
