Coming Up this Week

Food for thought, that’s what we’ve got for our readers this week. Books that make you think about things in a different way than you are used to. From history to social media our reviews will have you looking at topics from an uncommon and insightful angle. Monday- Kate reads the Man Booker longlisted novel by Laila Lalami, The Moor’s Account, a retelling of the ‘discovery’ of America by the Moroccan slave who was also there at the time.

Wednesday- Kirsty D is made to think by Jon Ronson’s So You’ve Been Publicly Shamed.

Friday- Eve and Moira attempt to convey the awesomeness of Lisa Glass’s YA novel ‘Air’ without giving too much of the plot away.
