Health Dept.: 135 ill after eating at Va. Chipotle, 2 test positive for norovirus

STERLING, Va. (WJLA) - The Loudoun County Health Department has identified 135 people who reported getting sick after visiting a Chipotlein Sterling, Virginia between July 13 and 16.

According to the health department, two people tested positive for the same strain of norovirus.

Norovirus can cause inflammation of the stomach or intestines or both. Symptoms include diarrhea, vomiting, nausea, stomach pain, fever or headache, and body aches, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

The Loudoun County Health Department says it is not aware of anyone becoming ill since the Chipotle reopened last Wednesday.
