Lang Is ABCA/Rawlings All-American

Greensboro, NC – For the second straight season, Caleb Lang has been named an ABCA/Rawlings All-American. He improved upon last year's mark though, and made it on to the First-Team after landing a Second-Team spot in 2014.

Lang achieved the mark after making ABCA/Rawlings First Team All-Mid-Atlantic Region just a few days ago. Lang is also the only representative from the CSAC on this year's All-American team. Additionally, he is one of only four representatives from the state of Pennsylvania.

The full ABCA/Rawlings All-America and Gold Glove teams are below and at this link.

The ABCA All-America team was first recognized in 1949 and now features nine divisions. The first ABCA NCAA Div. III All-America team was recognized in 1976. An archive is available here.

Established in 1945, the ABCA is the primary professional organization for baseball coaches at the amateur level. Its over 6,600 members represent all 50 states and 23 countries. Since its initial meeting of 27 college baseball coaches in June 1945, Association membership has broadened to include NCAA Division I, II and III, NAIA, Junior College, Pacific Association Division, High School and Youth. The 72nd annual ABCA Convention will be held Jan. 7-10, 2016 in Nashville, Tennessee.
