XXXX Variety Bash starting at Suncorp Stadium

MAJOR TRAFFIC ALERT:  The 2014 Fourex Variety Bash for Qld and NSW entrants will start at Suncorp Stadium this Friday, August 8.

The Variety Bash is a nationwide charity event and participants will be using all roads in and around Suncorp Stadium from 6:00am to gain access to the stadium plaza where they will remain until the actual start of the event at 9:30am.

At this time NSW vehicles will depart Suncorp and travel along Hale Street towards the ICB whilst Queensland vehicles depart and turn left along Given Terrace before heading out to the Western Freeway.
Police will be on intersections in the vicinity of the stadium to assist motorists and the vehicles in the event. All motorist are remided that traffic in and around Suncorp Stadium will be heavy from 6:00am whilst the expected 300 vehicles arrive and then again when they depart after 9:30am.

All motorists are asked to be mindful of this event and adjust their travel times to allow for any minor delays experienced as a result.
