Police are investigating a serious traffic crash at the intersection Gordon Street and McAlister Street, Mackay this morning.
Initial information suggests a pedestrian was struck by a truck at around 11.40am.
The pedestrian, a 60-year-old man, was transported to the Mackay Base Hospital with serious injuries.
Traffic diversions are currently in place. Please plan your trip accordingly.
