LAS VEGAS — WWE legend Jake “The Snake” Roberts is in intensive care after being diagnosed with double pneumonia, according to a report from WrestlingInc.com.
A hospital spokeswoman in Las Vegas told USA TODAY Sports Roberts was admitted to the facility on Wednesday.
According to the report, Roberts flew to Las Vegas on Wednesday to appear in a show when he became unconscious on the plane.
Roberts was in a coma for 24 hours but was out of it as of Thursday night, according to the report.
Roberts was an iconic star for WWE in the 1980s and 1990s and was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in April.
