WUPL-TV Joins Southland TV Network

THIBODAUX, La.  – New Orleans television affiliate WUPL-TV has joined the Southland Conference Television Network and will make its football broadcast debut on Saturday, Sept. 27 as the Nicholls State University Colonels open conference play at Central Arkansas. Kickoff in Conway is scheduled for 3 p.m.

"To be able to bring even more exciting Louisiana football to local fans is a great opportunity for WUPL; and to start it this weekend with Nicholls State University is a great win for us all!"
 
WUPL, along with more than 30 television affiliates across Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Louisiana, Nebraska, Oklahoma and Texas, will carry nine remaining games on SLCTV schedule, starting with the matchup between the Colonels and Bears.
