This Neighborhood Is About to Get a Farmers Market

You were already a little jealous of this district. Now you’ll be going there on Saturdays.

Don't you think this street needs a Saturday market?

From the folks who gave us the Fremont Sunday Market comes the new Terry Avenue Saturday Market, to run Saturdays from 10am to 3pm, from June 6 through October 3, on the brick-laid stretch of Terry running through the cultural and creative heart of South Lake Union.

“Think Ballard Farmers Market’s little sister, with the local fun flavor of Fremont geared to make South Lake Union into Seattle’s next big neighborhood,” says Ryan Reiter, Terry’s and Fremont’s Managing Director.

With 50 local booths of handcrafted items, produce, and street food, Terry Ave organizers intend this market to forge a new blend of farmers market and popup mercantile. Look for pickles from Seattle Pickle Company, sheep's milk cheeses from Glendale Shepherd, ice pops from Six Strawberries, pour-overs from Convoy Coffee, and a summer full of Hayton Farms berries.

Among a whole lot of other stuff.

Grand opening June 6.
