I hope that this binder will save you lots of time and energy, while helping you understand what is required of us with the Georgia state evaluation system. I have spent countless hours researching the TKES handbook, in training at TKES feedback sessions, and watching {valuable} modules online. After being confused about TKES implementation for a large portion of the school year in back in 2013, I decided to create this to use for myself and other teachers. This resource is a result of that difficult school year. While I recognize that our documentation must be uploaded to the state platform, some administrations require binders. I do believe it is easier to keep track of and organize this way. I am a very visual person and knowing exactly what I need to provide evidence for will help my school year run more smoothly. While I recognize that our documentation must be uploaded to the state platform, our administration requires us to have a binder and I do believe it is easier to keep track of and organize. All the while, you are more confident knowing exactly what you need to achieve EXEMPLARY teacher status! I believe my district provided good training as to what it is I will be evaluated on. However, I was very unclear about "how" to maintain my documentation and exactly they are looking for for artifacts and evidence of my teaching. The checklists are a perfect way to self-check, reflect, be proactive, and get organized.
