A 40-year-old woman and a 45-year-old man reported missing from Cairns last week have been located deceased.
The pair were located yesterday at an isolated area near the Little Mulgrave River at Goldsborough.
Investigations into the circumstances surrounding their deaths are continuing but at this stage appear to be non-suspicious.
Police would like to thank members of the public and the media for assisting police in search efforts.
