About Hambidge Center for Creative Arts and Sciences: 2015 will mark the 81st year that the Hambidge Center for Creative Arts and Sciences
has provided residency fellowships to distinguished artists and scientists at a 600-acre creative sanctuary in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Individuals in residence have access to private studios and accommodations, as well as communal dinners. The public is invited to the campus on Saturdays for a series of rotating programs that include artist talks, nature hikes, gristmill visits, gallery openings and other special events. www.hambidge.org
