Jan, a self-taught artist, has enjoyed drawing and painting since childhood. His early work was realistic and included several portraits. His art has evolved and can be described as surrealistic. Jan has creative and vivid imagination. He works primarily with India ink, pencil and ball point pen. His drawings are black and white portraits and include detailed imagery of halos, crosses, skulls, boats, Asian and Viking symbolism. His works are detailed and meticulous--a must see show!
