Police have charged a man with attempted homicide following an incident in Urraween today.
Around 2am police were called to a Coongul Court residence following reports of a disturbance.
It will be alleged that a 27-year-old woman was located inside the home with stab wounds to her face and neck and a 32-year-old man was found in a neighbouring backyard with stab wounds to the head.
The man and woman were taken to the Hervey Bay Hospital with serious injuries.
A 30-year-old Susan River man has been charged with two counts of attempt to murder and wilful damage and is due to appear in the Hervey Bay Magistrates Court on November 3.
