Charles has honored us with the details of his wonderfully written book.
Charles says~ For a long time I've dreamt of
these fascinating mythical creatures, though, in my head of course, they are
real. I've also wanted to bring them to the adult audience, and while I believe
I have written these tales suitably to allow YA to read them, adults will not
be reading something which is meant for the younger audience. There are hints
at sexual behavior but nothing graphical.
A little about Charles~ I'm currently residing in Aberdeenshire, Scotland not far from the coast. It allows me to wander the beaches and look off into the vast open water and wonder at what might be happening beneath the throng and crashing of the ocean currents. I first began writing back in my early twenties, after spending much of my childhood reading. It was whilst reading and being taken away to a different world, and simply by how I felt taking the words in that made me realise I wanted to do the same for others. I wanted to be the one to take people away from their everyday lives, to a world they could enjoy spending time in.

Deep in the world's oceans, asperini (merfolk) are on the brink of extinction. The planktonia numbers are diminishing and when they fall, everything else will follow. To secure their survival, some believe they must abandon the oceans and start new lives living on land as nghozas (humans).
Morg, born to a shawl implementing this beief, is disgusted by the notion and wants nothing to do with it. She dreams of a future, a great ahead, when the madness has ended and with a new friend embarks on a journey to make her dream a reality. Her journey is vast and brutal, and she encounters beings she never knew existed. The poren (merman), more a spur (merboy), guides her to the White Queen, a ligphur (mermaid) who can see into the great ahead, of things yet to pass, and could be the answer to her dreaming mind.
