[Exclusive] Beauty In The Suffering “The Crazies (The Zombie Song)” Video Premiere

Bloody-Disgusting has teamed up with Oklahoma City-based industrial hard rock act Beauty In The Suffering to bring you the exclusive music video premiere for “The Crazies (The Zombie Song)”. Directed by Jonathan Shahan and Mike Walsh of Rev Hi-Fi Productions, the video mixes performance footage with a horde of zombies descending upon the group. You can watch this exclusive premiere below.

“The Crazies (The Zombie Song)” can be snagged as a free download via the band’s Bandcamp (although donations are happily accepted).

“Visualizing the music for Beauty In The Suffering has been a primary goal of this project from day one.

For as long as I can remember I have always heard music in my head. Usually while I am in songwriting mode and I start scatting scratch vocals I will get a good sense of a lyrical theme and from there a story emerges. Sometimes the story is vast and communal and sometimes it’s just a feeling or a mood and much more personal.

From every aspect of this project ; music, lyrics, album artwork, and video, I wanted to try and create a multi-media experience that would shine a light from different angles on different core aspects of concepts that were running around in my head despite all of the financial roadblocks most independent bands face.

For my bands first videos it just so happens the first couple of songs took a zombie apocalypse turn. But whether the setting is that of a dystopian future or focuses on interpersonal pain from the present or demons from the past my goal has and will always be to enhance the musical experience through a cinematic approach.

Having so many creative, talented, and enthusiastic people involved made the entire experience one I will never forget piecing together and being a part of so a very big bunch of kudos to those involved who helped take this project to the next level.”

‘Mind Body Spirit’ Exclusive Trailer – Get Twisted with Found Footage Yoga Horror Movie in May

A yoga influencer discovers just how flexible fear can be in Mind Body Spirit, a new found footage horror movie that Welcome Villain Films is bringing to the table in a couple weeks.

Mind Body Spirit will release on Digital outlets May 7.

In Mind Body Spirit, “Anya, an aspiring yoga influencer, embarks on a ritual practice left behind by her estranged grandmother. She documents the practice on her YouTube channel for the world to watch, allowing her audience intimate access to her journey.

“But what starts as a spiritual self-help guide evolves into something much more sinister. As Anya becomes obsessed with the mysterious power of the practice, she unwittingly unleashes an otherworldly entity that begins to take control of her life – and her videos. Now Anya must race to unlock the truth, before her descent into madness threatens to consume her mind, body and spirit. By the time she reveals the true nature of the ritual, will it be too late?”

Mind Body Spirit was written and directed by Alex Henes & Matthew Merenda.

The upcoming horror film stars Sarah J. Bartholomew, Madi Bready, KJ Flahive, Anna Knigge, and Kristi Noory, and was produced by Dan Asma and Jesse McClung.
