Boston-based independent electronic rock artist Psycliq has returned once again with an incredibly diverse and powerful album, "The Cure for Chaos Theory". Four years in the making, this seventeen track album contains over an hour of new, original music and is the most ambitious work from Psycliq to date. While focusing on electronic elements more than ever before, the project encompasses a number of different genres, as has come to be expected from this artist, and the production quality is the highest to date.

Somewhat of a concept album without the overtones of a pretentious drama club, "The Cure for Chaos Theory" brings the listener on a journey of emotions and places like none other. From the driving energy of opening track "The Theory", through the cacophonous racket of "The Chaos", to the final placid strains of "The Cure" (punctuated with real HAM radio recordings received from a NASA engineer), this album has much to show you if you're willing to come along for the ride. The three-piece suite "It's Meant To Be" is spread throughout the album, offering instrumental punctuation to the process. "Her Ice-Lit Walk" paints a haunting contrast of calm and chaos, while "Rewire" offers a stuttering technological jump. "Perilous Opportunity" and "Snowrunner" both explode with walls of audio, while the plaintive "Sad, I Could Have Made You Queen Of The Seas" paints a picture of acquiescent regret. And for the first time ever, "Brushwork" features a stellar guest vocal performance by the immensely talented Jon Wiltzen.

Psycliq has upped the ante with this project, and there's no telling where this artist can go from here.
