August is Here!
That means Consumed Youth is back!
Our first Youth night is Wednesday August 5th. Dust off those old board games and decks of cards and bring them with you. I'll be bringing Settlers of Catan's and we'll see who is the best settler.
Upcoming Dates:
August 5 - Board game night. Bring your favourite games
August 12 - Bonfire. We'll have marshmallows and other great fire foods.
August 19 - Movie Night! Come out on the bonfire and cast a vote for your movie choice. Of course we'll provide the popcorn.
August 26 - Murder Mystery Party!
August 29 - Glow in the Dark Mini Golf
Mini Golf
On August 29th we'll be going out for some Glow in the Dark Mini Golf. The cost is $15 per person and you get and hour of golfing, pizza and pop! I need to know who can come. Send me an email @ stefan@cornerstonehfx.ca or use the sign up sheet on the bulletin board at church.
You'll need your own ride to and from. We start at 5pm and finish at 7pm.

Encounter Weekend
Coming very soon is Encounter weekend, this is a great rally put on by Kingswood University. This is for grades 8-12. If you want more info you can talk to me or visit http://kingswood.edu/encounter/
Important Notes:
The times for youth during the summer are a bit different from the rest of the year. We will be meeting from 7-8:30pm every Wednesday. Please be on time picking up the students. Our leaders want to clean up and get back home too. Thanks!
I'll be sending out this type of email once a month. The next one will have a little bit of information about the lessons we'll be looking at for the month so you know a little bit about what to expect. I'll also send out any important changes that might happen throughout the month but will do my best to keep those at a minimum.
