A 73-year-old woman has died following a single vehicle traffic crash at Margate this morning.
Initial information indicates around 11.20am the woman was exiting a business on Baynes Street when the sedan she was driving accelerated across the street before crashing into a power pole.
The woman was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Moreton District Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the incident.
