Demand Inquiry into 1,000 Missing Aboriginal Women

Update, September 12, 2014.

The Canadian government has rejected the calls for a national inquiry into the missing and murdered indigenous women and girls, which could include hundreds and hundreds of women. Please share this petition to demand the Canadian government do more and continue with the inquiry!

A recent report has revealed that there are more than 1,000 missing women cases involving Aboriginal women in Canada.  Clearly, this indicates a significant problem. However, the government is not investigating.

An inquiry into these cases could help identify risk factors associated with assault of aboriginal girls and women. This could help create policies and preventative measures to protect aboriginal girls and women in the future.

Tell the Canadian Government to investigate missing Aboriginal women cases.
