When you speak, do you feel like you are NOT listened to? Need help jazzing up your workshops with more storytelling? Want fresh make-up techniques for yourself or to offer your clients? If yes, then join us on April 22nd for Education Day!

Two interactive workshops will be offered: Come for the full day or just half! (lunch is included for full day) Communicating with Clients Using Storytelling, Getting Clients to Listen, and Being Likable (0.4 CEUs) and Makeup Application Techniques.  This event will be held at the Fashion Institute of Technology.

Communicating with Clients Using Storytelling, Getting Clients to Listen, and Being Likable

Bill Graham, (www.grahamcc.com) a renowned communications expert, will present the morning training session.  Mr. Graham specializes in helping executives, actors, sales professionals and those building their careers deliver effective speeches and improve their communication skills.  Mr. Graham has worked in television on As the World Turns, Guiding Light, and Another World as Director for Creative Affairs and is currently the president of Graham Corporate Communications.  He has trained thousands of professionals on how to engage their audience, become better communicators, and be more likable.

This training is important for image consultants because we need to have the best communications skills to engage effectively with clients and grow our business.  We encourage you to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to learn from a highly experienced and engaging leader in the communications field.

Makeup Application Techniques

Francisco J. Rosales, a national makeup artist for Trish McEvoy Beauty, formerly with Chanel, will present the afternoon training session.  Trish McEvoy Beauty was founded by makeup artist Trish McEvoy, renowned for teaching the Power of Makeup.  Mr. Rosales trains makeup artists across the country on the best custom makeup application techniques to use for clients.  This training is important for image consultants who apply makeup to clients.  It will be especially beneficial to consultants who want to provide value added services to their clients on helping them to figure out how to use makeup. Many of our clients want to learn new trends in makeup like contouring.   This workshop will teach us how to use contouring to bring out client's best features and de-emphasize others.  We will also learn how to choose makeup colors for our clients to create their best look.  In addition, Mr. Rosales will teach how to use makeup seamlessly to transform a look from day to evening.   This information is very useful since many of our clientele are professional women who attend events right after work.

We encourage you to sign up for the full day, but if you can’t please try to attend at least come to one event. The schedule for the day is as follows:
