CSSC Council Rep for UC Berkeley Application
The California Student Sustainability Coalition (CSSC) is a broad network of student sustainability organizations throughout the state of California. Managed and coordinated by students and recent alumni, we strive to implement policies and programs at various institutional levels.  CSSC provides a platform for driving institutional change and a forum for networking and sharing best practices.

As a representative for UC Berkeley, you will be part of the CSSC Council, a body comprised of representatives, two from each college / university.  While the CSSC has been recently restructured, Council members have been responsible for participating in monthly council calls, sharing and gathering news from each campus, developing their own campus chapters, supporting the biannual Convergences (events that draw sustainability-and-justice-minded folks from around the state and nation for a weekend full of talks, workshops, and caucuses), and reporting back to SERC.
