ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Houghton women's lacrosse fell to 3-4 on the season with their first conference loss of the season, falling 15-0 at Nazareth on Friday.
The host Golden Flyers outscored the Highlanders 11-0 and held a dominating 22-3 advantage in shots in the first half.
For the game, Nazareth outshot Houghton 30-5 and held 25-12 edge in ground balls and forced 30 Houghton turnovers.
The Highlanders did have the edge in the circle, outdrawing Nazareth 10-7.
Kourtnie Franklin made seven stop between the pipes.
Houghton (3-4; 1-1 E8) returns to the field on Saturday when they travel to take on Alfred University in another E8 matchup.
